To support the recovery of villages adversely affected by the forest fires that occurred in Muğla and its surroundings in 2021, OPET has completed its restoration, rehabilitation, and educational efforts in Çökertme Village, Milas, as part of the Respect for Nature Project. Speaking at the ceremony held in Çökertme Village, Nurten Öztürk, Founding Member of the OPET Board of Directors, stated, “We believe that contributing to the awareness of the local people about forest fires, climate change, and disasters as part of the Respect for Nature Project is very valuable for a sustainable future.
